Can Cassandra nodes only be deployed on Kubernetes master node?

With kubernetes 3 node cluster i.e, on 3 centos 7 VM's, cassandra cluster can be created on the master node only ? or cassandra cluster can be spread across 3 VM's ? like each cassandra node on each kubernetes worker node ...

No, Cassandra pods will be deployed on Kubernetes worker nodes if they satisfy the resource requirements.

In case you weren't aware, DataStax has a Kubernetes Operator for Apache Cassandra (cass-operator). The cass-operator automates the process of deploying and managing open-source Apache Cassandra and DataStax Enterprise clusters in a Kubernetes cluster. Cheers!
