How can we delete commit logs to free up space?

Hi,

Can you please suggest how we can delete the commit log as it's taking a log of space?

Up to 8 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 1.0 MiB each and 10.0 MiB total.

The commit logs are the commits for incoming writes to your cluster from the application. You don't delete them.

If commit logs are not getting flushed/recycled, it's an indication of another problem.

Please log a ticket with DataStax Support and attach a Diagnostics Report from OpsCenter so one of our engineers can assist you with the investigation. Cheers!
