Will the commands in weeks 5 and 6 of the workshop series be part of the certification?
It appears that we have not communicated the expectations and scope of the Cloud-Native Workshop Series. For the most part, this series of workshops is to show developers how to build cloud-native applications on Apache Cassandra.
Week 5 was to show you how to deploy Cassandra in a Kubernetes cluster. Week 6 was to show you how to deploy your application in a Kubernetes cluster.
The content does help participants understand Cassandra better but this workshop series but to be clear:
- The workshops are not to teach you how to pass the certification.
- The workshops are not a replacement for the courses at DataStax Academy.
- The workshops are not to teach you how to get certified in Kubernetes.
If you want to get certified, please follow either the Developer Learning Path or Administrator Learning Path at DataStax Academy. Cheers!
