When will Spark-Cassandra connector 3.0 be released for GA?

Hi Team,

Since Spark 3.0.0 was released on June 18th, but our Spark Cassandra Connector 3.0 is still in Alpha2 phase -

May I know when we can have a stable release for Spark Cassandra Connector?

@191036020_173041, out of curiosity, are you looking (or waiting) for any particular feature/fix/enhancement out of the Spark Cassandra Connector (SCC) v3.0?

Our project is using JDK 11 and we will have a release to PROD soon, without connector 3.0, for the project, I have to use JDK 8, so I would expect connector 3.0 (JDK 11) is released soon.

I don't have a quick answer for you and generally speaking we are not able to provide any dates up front.

I can however tell you that the team are busy working on it right now but GA release is probably a way off considering 3.0 is still in alpha and yet to go into beta.

I will try to provide an update when we know more in the coming weeks. Cheers!

OK, I will check this Question daily, hopefully we can have the GA version ASAP. Thanks for your support.

Just in case you misunderstood my previous post, it will be weeks away since there is still no beta release. :)
