recently created 3 nodes cluster . In this cluster /var is ~9G and I see we have min free space 5GB , is there a reason why we have more than 50% of the space marked for “do not use” ?

@amitosh there isn't enough information in what you provided. Are you using /var as the data directory? If not, please provide additional background on your configuration so we could respond appropriately. Cheers!
NOTE: There is insufficient information provided in this question. The /var
filesystem is not normally used by DSE or C*.
