What is required to upgrade Graph from DSE 6.0.4 to 6.8?

We are currently implementing a system using DSE Graph 6.0.x and we are planning to upgrade to 6.8 within the next few months (probably after the application using 6.0.x is in production)

Considering the drastic changes in architecture for graphs , how hard is it to upgrade? What considerations should we make in advance to make the transition easier?

As of today , or cluster is only hosting our application and it is 100% a graph

@Yeikel.ValdesSantana_186477 I believe you're already familiar with DataStax Graph (DSG) which is the redesigned graph in DSE 6.8 that's embedded in Cassandra versus "Classic Graph" which is the previous version in DSE 6.7 and earlier releases.

When you upgrade to DSE 6.8, your application can continue to operate on Classic Graph. But there is work involved in migrating your application to access the features of the new DSG in 6.8. Going through the details of how to migrate is difficult to achieve with the Q&A format of this forum so I will reach out to your Account Team to facilitate the discussion. Cheers!
