Is there a need to disable CPU frequency scaling on CentOS?

Hi; going through that great doc "Recommended Production Settings" I found story of CPU Governors.

By default my PROD CentOS servers seem not to have those activated.

"Disable CPU frequency scaling"

/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu*/cpufreq

The is no such subdir at all.
So; if that does not exist; is there any need to diable either?

Or; what is/are the packages to add to the CentOS deployment?

@kajarvine_115939 It really depends on the version of CentOS but in newer versions of RHEL 6 onwards, the cpufreq drivers were built in to the kernel tools package and is enabled by default. You can possibly check with other commands such as lsmod to see if it's installed or enabled on your systems.
