How can I control the frequency with which the commit logs are flushed?

I would like to turn on CDC and parse the CLs in as real time fashion as possible to write them to a external source.

  1. How can I control the frequency with which the commit logs are flushed?
  2. Is there is such parameter, is it a good thing to increase its frequency?
  3. Any best practices around this setting?

What is your use case? If your organisation has a DSE subscription, we can get in contact with your account manager and organise a consulting engagement with one of our architects to see if we can design a solution to suit your needs. Cheers!

I'd also ask for a use-case. Parsing commit-logs is often a misuse.

@haizafrul_110648 the quick answer is "no". The CDC in DSE has been refactored specifically for DSE Advanced Replication and there no public APIs for it at this point. Cheers!
