Is it neccessary to create the opscenter user for tarball installations?

Hi Team,
We are using dse 6.8.x and our client has a requirement that , is it necessary that we need to create a opscenter user for the opscenter host (tarball installation).
User has a requirement where he wants to create a different user with the same access as opscenter user and implement SSL as a part of POC.

Could you please advise if it can be implemented.

Thanks

opscenter

When installing OpsCenter with a tarball, it will run as whatever user was used to start it with:

$ cd /path/to/installation
$ bin/opscenter

It is not necessary to create an opscenter OS user. You can use which ever user you want. Cheers!
