Can we change the following parameters for logging levels in dse logback.xml file <maxFileSize>20MB</maxFileSize>
<minIndex>1</minIndex>
<maxIndex>20</maxIndex>
If we can do so do we need to restart dse . Documents have stated that every one minute auto scan happens when configuration scan is set to true.
Please provide us the steps if are allowed to change those parameters
Yes, you can change that parameter, however, rather than setting auto scan on which will impact the cluster moving forward I would just perform a rolling restart. By doing so you won't have that scan impact the cluster every minute and you won't expose the cluster to picking up an erroneously set config option accidentally.
