Can we use OpsCenter to monitor Apache Cassandra cluster?

Hi,

We have the community edition of Apache Cassandra Cluster installed in our environment. But we do not have a monitoring application to view cluster status. Can we use OpsCenter to monitor the Apache Cassandra cluster? Is that possible? Or does Opscenter only work with Datastax version of cassandra?

How does the licensing work in this case? Is there a separate license for only using Opscenter and not using Datastax software?

DataStax OpsCenter is compatible only with DataStax Enterprise (DSE) clusters and is not compatible with Open Source Apache Cassandra clusters. Please refer to the OpsCenter compatibility documentation for the details.

Alternatively, if you want to monitor the metrics of your open source Apache Cassandra cluster, you could look into leveraging DataStax Metrics Collector for Apache Cassandra (MCAC).
