How can I find the root cause of Cassandra dying frequently?

One or other C* server dying all of sudden, no errors or warns in logs.

DSE version: 6.7.3 (memory allocated: 14G/32G and 16 cores)

Not sure where to check on this as there are no errors in the logs.

Can you please help me to find root cause of this?

Thanks,

-Varun

@vkayanala_42513 the symptoms you described sound like the Linux oom-killer is unexpectedly terminating the DSE process which is why there are no errors or warnings logged. You can verify this by checking the operating system logs. Check with your sysadmin team if you need assistance.

32GB of RAM is only sufficient for very low loads and the node is likely overloaded and running out of resources. Cheers!
