How do we get the password for a role?

we have some roles created in the db . but we forget the password for that roles .in system.auth table the password is encrypted how to get real password please help

It isn't possible to retrieve the password for any role since it is stored in encrypted format.

Your only option is to reset the password if you don't know what it is. Cheers!

hi Eric,

is there tool avialble to decrpyt the password .every time when we forget the password it's really difficult to change and give to all the teams
