Kind installation on Windows failed with "Item has already been added. Key in dictionary: 'NO_PROXY' Key being added: 'no_proxy'"

Hi All,

I am trying to install 'kind' on windows. however running into the following error:

2020-11-19 19:31:22,576 17816 [ERROR] - The install of kind was NOT successful.
2020-11-19 19:31:22,580 17816 [ERROR] - kind not installed. An error occurred during installation:
Item has already been added. Key in dictionary: 'NO_PROXY' Key being added: 'no_proxy'

I tried looking up to get around this. appreciate if you can let me know if any body encoutered this problem and how it got resolved?

The error you posted is very generic and is specific to KinD and your Windows machine.

Without knowing details such as the Windows version and installation steps you did, it's difficult to know the cause of the problem.
