Caused by: java.io.IOException: Failed to write statements to test.test

We are getting below exception in the application, can anyone help me to debug the same.

Caused by: java.io.IOException: Failed to write statements to test.test. The latest exception was Cassandra timeout during SIMPLE write query at consistency LOCAL_QUORUM (2 replicas were required but only 0 acknowledged the write)

Hi @mailmeonvinay_191189,

the exception means that two replicas responses were required, but they did not respond in time.

There could be a number of reasons for this exception, eg:

- not enough nodes available to handle the request

- nodes available, but not responsive, perhaps overloaded

You would need to take the cluster state into context and check:

- What is the replication factor on the keyspace "test"?

- Are sufficient nodes in your cluster up and running? Check with nodetool status.

- If the nodes are up, what can you see in the system.log of these nodes at the time when the query failed?

I hope this helps to investigate this issue further.
