Should incremental backups match the schema when restoring data?

Hi I have quick question with regards to incremental backups of cassandra. Suppose I take a snapshot and schema backup and use incrementals and I lose the whole cluster. To me it seems logical restore keyranges, schema I took together with the snapshot backup and then restore incrementals . However I encountered situations that incrementals expected newer schema that was changed/different than the schema that was first backed up when taking initial snapshot backup. Am I supposed to take schema backup each time I backup the incrementals too or how does this work to keep schema consistent with incremental backups? If yes am I expected to import latest schema and then do the snapshot/incremental restore at once ? (edited)

@michal.gubik_174136 the schema needs to match the backups in order for you to restore the files. We recommend that you take a snapshot every time you make a schema change so you always have a copy of the schema. Cheers!
