Workshop Week 4: UI: Getting 'Something Went Wrong Error 500' Gitpod Screen on URL

[FOLLOW UP TO QUESTION #7074]

The last step in the Week 4 homework I get an error stack if I try to 'save' (after entering uname password keyspace etc) .. and when I try to access the URL (with my port and name and region ) I get gitpod screen 'something went wrong error 500' . (this is the step after running "npm run start" )

Hi, could you show us a screenshot of the error stack? Are you getting the error stack as a red popup box in the UI?

Have a look at the explanation about blocked CORS requests, which causes a lot of the errors at this stage, and see if these apply to you:
