Are you going to run them on a single machine (dev env) or multiple machines (prod env)?
Hey @GRV,
there are no direct recommendations from Postgres afaik. Confluent recommends using RHEL/CentOS, Debian or Ubuntu. Cassandra's default docker image built up using Debian, but it doesn't mean it will work not so good with any other mentioned OS - notice the @alex.ott's list of supported platforms.
I'd say, it's not about the OS you are using, it's about how you use it. Any of them may be miscofigured and perform badly. :) Personally, I'd stick to CentOS or Debian, but that's just because of my previous experience.
