Why am I getting "Found invalid row in system.peers"?

getting below error

2020-04-22 20:26:07.049  WARN 5267 --- [           main] c.d.driver.core.ControlConnection        : Found invalid row in system.peers: [peer=/old_dc_ip, rpc_address=null, host_id=null, rack=null, tokens=null]. This is likely a gossip or snitch issue, this host will be ignored.

That happens sometimes when a node is restarted with a different IP address. You can safely ignore that warning as it is likely that another row in the table had the correct information for that node, so the driver was still able to "see" that node.

Validate in system.peers table to see if you have any extra line for old IP address. If yes, You can delete these extra entries in the system.peers table. Follow the same instructions as found here:
https://support.datastax.com/hc/en-us/articles/204289959-Changing-IP-addresses-in-DSE

Keep in mind that the sysem.peers table is different on each node and does not replicate, or update on each node, so this delete will need to be manually run on each node. The system.peers table should contain the IP's of All nodes in the cluster except its own.
