My problem lies in reloading the core. I am unable to reload the core once I upload the schema.xml and SolrConfig.xml. Do you have graph and search workload enabled on your DC? I thought we need to upload these 2 files if we need to use Solr queries in datastax. Am i doing something wrong here?

@raktim.0526_188212 It sounds like you haven't created the core yet so you won't be able to do reload if it doesn't exist. If you want to create the core using dsetool, you'll need to specify the schema and Solr configuration file like this on a Search node:
$ dsetool create_core ks_name.table_name schema=/path/to/schema.xml solrconfig=/path/to/solrconfig.xml
You can run these commands to check that they've been uploaded:
$ dsetool get_core_schema $ dsetool get_core_config
You can run this command to check the status of the cores:
$ dsetool core_indexing_status -all
