Hello Team,
Can we enable and disable alerts using opsceter rest api's ?
@ratna53_110276 It is possible to enable and disable event alerts via the OpsCenter REST APIs. Note that event alerts are different from the alerts triggered by the Best Practice Service.
You might find that there is a bit of learning curve required in order to construct the correct API calls when enabling alerts so we recommend that you instead use the web interface to configure alerting to get a bit of experience with the various configuration options.
As a final note, OpsCenter 6.8 is only compatible with newer releases of DSE. DSE 5.1 which is a long-term support (LTS) release requires OpsCenter 6.7. Older versions of OpsCenter have reached end-of-life. For a complete list, see the Product Compatibility matrix. Cheers!
Hi, yes it is possible to enable and disable alerts using opscenter rest API's . you can verify from datastax documentation . If you are using the DSE version 6.1, you can read this link:
https://docs.datastax.com/en/opscenter/6.1/api/docs/events_alerts.html#alert-methods
For DSE 5.1 , link is https://docs.datastax.com/en/archived/opscenter/5.1/api/docs/events_alerts.html#alert-methods
Best regards.
