Do we need run nodetool repair when a node is back online if OpsCenter Repair Service is enabled?

Hi,

according to opscenter doc, 'Do not run a manual node repair using nodetool repair or OpsCenter while the Repair Service is running.'

so if one node down greater than max_hint_window_in_ms, after node back online, do we need turn off repair service and manually run nodetool repair on it? or any other suggestions?

Thanks

The OpsCenter Repair Service breaks up token ranges into small segments and schedules their repairs over 9 days by default.

If a node has been down for an extended period (usually other than a restart), it will have inconsistent data and should be repaired immediately. Waiting up to 9 days for the node to be repaired automatically can have a detrimental impact to the performance of your cluster.

I suggest you temporarily disable the Repair Service, manually repair the node, then re-enable the Repair Service. Cheers!
