How can I retrieve Astra DB metrics through REST API?

I have a requirement to pull the metrics of ASTRA DB and push it to SPLUNK. We use SPLUNK as our central logging and monitoring tool. I could not see any metrcis API in the ASTRA documentation. It will be a great help to know how I can get access to those APIs. I see it uses Grafana and Prometheus, so there must be a way to do this.

Similar to my response to your question about getting notifications (#13185), your database's health and metrics are only available to view through the Astra DB Health Dashboard.

Being a fully-managed DB-as-a-service, the metrics are not exposed for export to other systems. Cheers!

Thanks for your response.

Most of the organizations want to have a central logging and monitoring solution. The other SaaS products that I have worked with either provide API access to the metrics or have information tables which can be accessed programmatically. Are there any plans from DataStax to expose the cluster specific metrics(like what is shown in Grafana) in future.

The ability to export health dashboard metrics is on the product roadmap for a future release. Cheers!
