I would like to know during node decommissioning, does it serve the requests.
Also can we stop the decommissioning in the middle, if so... Will there be any data loss
Could anyone help me here
Thank you

The decommission process involves reassigning the token range(s) a node owns to other nodes in the cluster and transfers the data (streams) to other nodes to maintain the defined replication factor.
Until all the data has been streamed to other nodes, the decommissioning node will remain a part of the cluster and continue to service requests.
Unless the streams have completed successfully, the token range(s) will continue to be owned by the decommissioning node so interrupting the operation (restarting the node) will not result in data loss. Cheers!
