When will the new version of Cassandra driver for PHP 8 be released on Windows?

Dear Eric. Hi

My team and I use the Cassandra database in PHP version 7.

We use the Windows platform. And we need to upgrade our code from PHP 7 to version 8. Unfortunately, the version 8 extension file is not provided and our team has encountered a major problem. Please provide us with the php_cassandra.dll file or teach us how to create this file. Because according to the available documents, we could not create this file and our team has stopped.

If necessary, we will work with you to upgrade and maintain the extension.

We no longer have anyone at DataStax actively working on the PHP driver so there are no plans to release a new version unless someone from the community is willing to take it on.

I'm not a PHP developer myself so I don't have any experience building the driver but if you'd like to attempt it yourself, the instructions are published in the Installation section of https://github.com/datastax/php-driver. Cheers!
