Cannot start Cassandra due to "Unexpected disk state: failed to read transaction log"

Unable to read the transaction log file when trying to bring the cassandra node. could you please help me how to bring up the cassandra service

That log entry appears to be from September 2020 so I suspect you're looking at the wrong log files.

In any case, there isn't enough information in what you posted other than there was a problem during one of the compaction tasks and the transactions couldn't be reconciled.
