There really is no comparison between the sstableloader
utility and the DataStax Bulk Loader (DSBulk) since there is no overlap in the functionality they provide.
The sstableloader
utility can only bulk load SSTables into a Cassandra cluster. On the other hand, DSBulk can load data in CSV or JSON format.
This means that you have to use one or the other depending on the format of the source data so the load rate between the two tools are not comparable. Cheers!
